Tottenham are very close to completing the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.
Nicolo Schira reports on Tuesday morning that Eze is “one step away” from joining Tottenham.
Eze has already agreed personal terms with Spurs on a contract until 2030.
Schira also adds that QPR will take 15 per cent of the profits that Crystal Palace make on this transfer.
Eze close to Tottenham
Spurs hijacked Arsenal’s move for Eze just over a week ago.
The Gunners have been in talks to sign Eze for some time and have already agreed personal terms but have not completed the transfer as they first need to offload players.
This opened the door to Tottenham to hijack the deal and according to Schira they could could complete the move.
Tottenham are having a busy end to the transfer window as they have also been in talks with Man City over the signing of Savinho.
They need reinforcements offensively after the ACL injury to James Maddison.
Eze, who famously scored the winner in the FA Cup final against Man City, has become one of the Premier League’s most admired players in recent years.
He has played for Palace for five years, scoring 39 goals in 167 games.
He is expected to leave Palace this summer in order to make the next step up.
Eze has been capped 11 times by England, scoring one goal. He played at Euro 2024.
