Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool will officially complete the signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth on Tuesday.
On Friday, David Ornstein broke the news that Liverpool had reached and agreement to sign Bournemouth left-back Kerkez for a fee of roughly €47 million.
Romano says that Kerkez will travel to Liverpool on Tuesday where he will undergo his medical and officially sign the contract.
Kerkez to join Liverpool
Kerkezl will sign a five-year contract at Anfield, and replace Andy Robertson as the club’s new left back.
The Scottish international is in talks to join Atletico Madrid.
The Reds have been chasing Kerkez’s signature for several months, and have now got their man.
Kerkez started all 38 league games for Bournemouth last season, scoring two goals and providing four assists, and he has been nominated for the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Kerkez joined Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 from AZ in the Eredivisie.
He has since developed into one of the best left backs in the Premier League for a Bournemouth team punching well above their weight.
He has won 23 caps for Hungary since his debut in 2022.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have already signed Kerkez’s replacement, with Andoni Iraola’s side recently confirming the signing of Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert for €13.5m.
