Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Bayern Munich are set to make a new offer for Luis Diaz, with a €75 million bid incoming.

Romano reports on Sunday morning that Bayern will make a new bid for the Liverpool winger in the coming days.

He says that Bayern are getting closer to completing the transfer.

Schira adds that they are ready to offer Diaz a contract until 2030.

Luis Diaz to Bayern

Bayern have made the signing of a top winger their primary target this summer transfer window.

They previously failed with moves for Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams.

They have also been linked with Rafa Leao but Diaz is their top target.

Romano says that if they fail for Diaz they could bid for Malick Fofana, having already asked Lyon for the conditions of the deal.

Bayern have already had one offer for Luis Diaz of €67.5m rejected by Liverpool who value the winger at over €100m.

Diaz has already put in a transfer request this summer as he wants to leave the club.

Liverpool are spending heavily this summer, having already signed Wirtz for a British record fee and on the verge of bringing in Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for €90m.

Diaz was also a target for Barcelona this summer but the Blaugrana do not have the funds.

Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in 2021 and has gone on to score 41 goals in 148 games, winning the Premier League and four English cups.

He has been capped 64 times by Colombia, scoring 19 goals.
