Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign AC Milan star Tijani Reijnders, according to multiple sources.
Gianluca Di Marzio was the first to break the news that City have agreed a deal to sign the AC Milan star for a fee of around €70 million.
Fabrizio Romano then followed that up with a ‘Here We Go’ to confirm that Reijnders is joining Man City and the transfer will soon be officially announced.
Reijnders to AMan City
Man City made a massive salary offer to Reijnders to entice him to the Etihad.
He only signed a new contract with Milan in recent weeks until 2030 at around €3.5 million per season.
But City offered a huge increase on this to convince Reijnders to sign.
Pep Guardiola is a massive fan of the Dutch midfielder, who can play as a number 8 or in a deeper role.

City plan to invest heavily in their midfield this summer as they will lose Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan when their contracts expire.
Reijnders joined Milan from AZ in 2023 and soon developed into one of the best midfielders in Serie A.
In 2024-25 he was arguably Milan’s player of the season, scoring 15 goals and delivering five assists in all competitions.
These numbers are particularly impressive considering Milan endured one of the worst seasons in their history, as they failed to qualify for Europe and were knocked out of the Champions League in the playoffs.
