Fans React to Alejandro Garnacho Signing Man United Shirt After Amorim’s Advice to Find New Club

Fans are convinced there is no way back for Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United after seeing a video of him signing a shirt during the club’s post-season tour of Malaysia.

Garnacho has had a very turbulent week at United after being left out of the team’s starting line-up for their Europa League final with Tottenham last Wednesday.

United subsequently went on to lose 1-0, with Garnacho only playing 20 minutes off the bench, and the Argentine star did little to hide his frustration with manager Ruben Amorim as he admitted it had been a ‘s***’ season for the club.

His agent brother then added fuel to the fire by posting on Instagram that the winger had been ‘thrown under the bus’ by Amorim. The Portuguese boss addressed Garnacho in front of his team-mates over the weekend, with Mail Sport exclusively revealing that he told him: ‘You better pray that you can find a club to sign you’.

After finishing the season trophyless and down in 15th place in the Premier League, United jetted off to Malaysia on Sunday night and have been greeting their fans in recent days.

A video has now emerged of Garnacho signing a United shirt alongside his team-mate Manuel Ugarte where the former appears to do a half-hearted autograph before failing to contain a yawn as he looks like he would rather be anywhere else.

After seeing the footage, supporters now believe it is only a matter of time before he heads to the United exit door.

‘Garnacho is definitely gone,’ posted one X user alongside the video.

Another commented: ‘He looks broken sigh’.

‘He’s absolutely fuming,’ one fan added, while another claimed: ‘Bro is not happy’.

The 20-year-old has also been accused of a lack of respect towards fans following the video.

‘Regardless of what’s going on with the club, that’s incredibly rude. Fans pay their bloody wages.,’ one fan wrote on X.

Another supporter was in agreement, adding: ‘His body language is shocking’.

Garnacho came off the bench in United’s first post-season friendly on Wednesday afternoon, and received a largely positive reception from the crowd.

However, it proved to be another humiliating day for the Red Devils as they slumped to a 1-0 loss against ASEAN All-Stars.

Garnacho was one of United’s brighter players but could not help his side find a breakthrough as they hit a new low under Amorim ahead of what is likely to be a crucial summer, with the head coach set to rebuild his squad and Garnacho likely to be moved on.
