The 2025 summer transfer window has now reopened for clubs in the Premier League following a short period of activity ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup.

FIFA introduced a mini transfer window due to the inaugural summer Club World Cup, with teams across world football able to sign players from 1-10 June.

The window then slammed shut before reopening for teams in the Premier League on Monday 16 June. Clubs in La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A and the Bundesliga will have to wait until 1 July before making additional signings, however, as their transfer window has not yet reopened.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen both joined Real Madrid on 1 June, from Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively, while Chelsea subsequently announced the arrivals of Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr.

Manchester City have already confirmed the arrivals of Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Marcus Bettinelli, and Matheus Cunha has joined Manchester United after Ruben Amorim’s side triggered the release clause in his contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur have signed Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel on a permanent deal following a loan spell at the club last season, Franco Mastantuono has joined Real Madrid, and Juventus have purchased Pierre Kalulu.
