Although the Manchester City team of 2022-23 matched their achievement after a number of years of near-misses, many still see the retro Red Devils outfit as the pinnacle of English football.

Sutton was particularly impassioned on the subject of the Man United side’s impressive quality and depth, including the talents of super-sub – and former United manager – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The former Celtic star added that the outfit had been his ‘favourite’ team to watch.
