Weymouth’s Vanarama National League South match with rivals Yeovil Town was abandoned on Saturday.

Weymouth led 1-0 thanks to Dan Roberts’ strike in the 32nd minute.

However, the clash was halted in the 75th minute when it emerged a supporter in the 4,712 crowd had taken ill.

Officials suspended the match when a helicopter had to land on pitch to attend to the fan – who was in the away section – from Bob Lucas Stadium.
