Antony could soon find himself with a touch of familiarity at Real Betis as the Spanish side are interested in taking Tyrell Malacia on loan.
The LaLiga club are one of multiple clubs interested in taking on the full-back, who has made just seven appearances all season.
It has been a long road back for Malacia, 25, who returned to first-team football in November following an 18-month battle back from a knee meniscus injury and surgery.
His exit could be accelerated by the arrival of £33million-rated Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu, for whom United are trying to complete a deal.
Malacia declared recently that he feels ‘sharp’ amid hopes to gain more minutes on the pitch.
‘I’m always prepared. I always want to play good games, so it doesn’t matter against who. I feel sharp and I feel ready. All I want to do is to play football. It’s been a long time so I’m happy to be back,’ he told the club’s website.

Erik ten Hag made Malacia his first signing from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022 in a £14.6m deal.
He was a regular throughout his first season at Old Trafford until the knee injury stalled his progress.
Malacia, who has nine caps for the Netherlands, made his comeback in November with 45 minutes against Huddersfield for the Under-21s.
He has since been a bit-part player under Ruben Amorim but has only appeared three times in the Premier League.
