Ian Wright shared his frustrations around Arsenal’s poor finishing as they fell to another defeat under Mikel Arteta.
Gunners legend Wright was in attendance at the Emirates as his former side went out of the FA Cup in the third round, losing 2-0 to Liverpool despite dominating proceedings.
The defeat caused frustration around the ground in North London, with Arsenal’s attacking struggles on show for everyone to see again following back-to-back defeats to Fulham and West Ham.
The Gunners had 18 shots in the game, with just five on target, registering a xG of 1.89 but failed to find the back of the net once again.
Wright shared a post on social media in the first half, claiming his side ‘need a killer’, presumably to finish the chances his former side has been creating at will.

Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz were among those who had chances to score for Arsenal in the game, with the Gunners knocking on the door regularly in the first half.
Home captain Martin Odegaard also hit the bar in the first half and Jurgen Klopp will have been happy to go into the half time interval level.
Arsenal have now scored just one goal from an xG of 6.47 over the last three games, and Mikel Arteta’s side seem to have stagnated going forward.
Mail Sport columnist and former Arsenal man Martin Keown has suggested that forward Saka could play more of a free-roaming role, while Wright seemed to be suggesting a forward player should be signed.

Gabriel Jesus missed the game through injury, but the Brazilian has scored just three goals in 15 games in the league this season.
Havertz started up front, with Eddie Nketiah coming on as a second half substitute with the Gunners chasing the game.
It’s unclear if the Gunners will use the transfer window to try and sign a forward, but if the opportunity suits they could well do.
