Gavi is reportedly set to be sidelined for up to ten months and will miss Euro 2024 next summer after surgery on his ACL injury.
The Barcelona star was playing for Spain against Georgia in the qualifiers when he pulled up clutching his knee and subsequently left the pitch in tears.
Surgery on his right knee was successful, Barcelona confirmed on Tuesday morning.
However, the 19-year-old midfielder will miss the rest of the campaign and what would have been his first European Championship, as reported by ESPN.
