Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana is wanted by Sevilla on loan, after spending the first half of the season at Union Berlin.
The 21-year-old is likely to be recalled from his spell with the Bundesliga after struggling to make an impact.
In his 17 appearances for the side across all competitions, the centre forward has scored just twice, registering one additional assist.
The Ivorian star was passed over for his national team’s AFCON squad, and will instead be keen to hit the ground running at his potential new club at the start of 2024.
Fofana joined Chelsea from Molde for £8million at the end of December 2022 but failed to see regular playing time during his first season at Stamford Bridge, making just four appearance for Chelsea’s senior team.

A further two appearances for the club’s youth side in Premier League two saw the striker on target, but last summer he was moved on for a season-long loan at Union Berlin.
But his time in the German capital has been uneasy, with Fofana suspended for a week in October after falling out with head coach Urs Fischer, despite making a public apology.
Fofana had refused to shake hands with Fischer after he was substituted during his club’s 1-0 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League,
