Christian Eriksen will stay at Manchester United until the summer despite gaining interest from Turkish side Galatasaray.
Galatasaray made the 31-year-old midfielder their primary target for the winter window – which closes on February 9 in Turkey.
Galatasaray were hoping they could to sign Eriksen on loan until the end of the current campaign, with the option to buy him in the summer.
However, it’s now been revealed that Eriksen – who is contracted to the Red Devils until 2025 – will stay at Man United until the summer, according to Sky Sports.
The 31-year-old has struggled with injuries this season, being sidelined for a substantial amount of time after limping off against Luton in November.
Eriksen has also fallen down the pecking order under Erik Ten Hag, having started just three games since mid-November due to injury and selection issues.
Nevertheless, Eriksen has represented the Red Devils 63 times, scoring three goals and registering 12 assists.
