Wales boss Craig Bellamy has held talks with Joe Allen in a bid to convince him to make a U-turn on his international retirement, according to reports.
Bellamy is said to have recently visited Swanseaâs training ground to speak to the midfielder, who hung up his boots for his country in February 2023.
Allen, 34, was awarded 74 caps during a 14-year spell with the Dragons and The Sun have claimed that he has not ruled out making a return to action.Â
He is, however, determined to reach peak condition at club level first.
With Nations League matches scheduled for next month and qualification for the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, Bellamy is keen to expand his talent pool.Â
