Ed Sheeran has reached new heights as Ipswich Town’s most famous supporter after being turned into his own Panini sticker.
The multi-award winning singer, whose hits include Shape of You, Perfect and The A Team, has been immortalised in a limited ‘Ed-ition’ sticker following the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Cole Palmer and Mo Salah who have been turned into sticker form for their clubs.
In a video to fans, Sheeran said: ‘Hi guys! Got some Panini stickers – official, limited Ed-ition. These are going to be available at the Nottingham Forest game this Saturday. Hope you like them! Lots of love.’
Sheeran, who also sponsors the Tractor Boy’s shirt, is a regular at Portman Road following during their return to the premier league after promotion from the Championship play-off’s last season.
In August 2024, Sheeran announced that he had also purchased a minority share in the Ipswich Town, and said at the time: ‘I have lived in Suffolk since I was three years old and, while I travel the world and sometimes feel like an outsider in big cities, Suffolk and Ipswich have always made me feel part of the community and protected.
‘It’s such a joy to be a fan of Ipswich Town.

‘I’m not a voting shareholder or a board member, this is just me putting some money into the club I love and them returning the gesture, so please don’t get onto me with signing suggestions or tactics to play!’
Following the announcement of the sticker, Ipswich Town’s chairman, Mark Ashton, said: ‘Bringing Ipswich Town, Ed Sheeran and Panini together for something bespoke to us is great for our supporters. I know Ed loves the design and is a fan of Panini so hopefully those attending Portman Road on Saturday get their hands on one.’
Fans will be able to get their hands on the sticker at Ipswich’s next game on Saturday when they face Nottingham Forest at home.
Away from following Ipswich Town’s fight to stay in the Premier League, Sheeran has been continuing to tour, with his recent concert in Bhutan making history as the first international artist to perform in the country.
