Fan’s Incredible Angle of Ronaldo’s Stunning Goal Labelled ‘Vintage CR7’

Cristiano Ronaldo showed he is still capable of world class moments with a wonderful goal in Tuesday’s friendly against Ireland and one fan in attendance managed to capture it on their phone from the perfect angle.

Ronaldo rolled back the years with a brilliant brace in the Euro 2024 warm-up clash in Aveiro, which Portugal won 3-0.

And it was his first strike that got everyone off in the Aveiro Municipal Stadium off their seats.

In the 50th minute, the 39-year-old collected the ball on the right side before cutting in, throwing in some stepovers and unleashing an unstoppable effort into the top-left corner of the Ireland goal.

The keeper hardly moved as the rasping effort flew into the net and one fan happened to be recording in the right place at the right time.

Ronaldo grabbed his second of the night 10 minutes after his first when he produced a crisp first-time left foot finish in the area.

There has been debate in Portugal over whether or not Ronaldo should start at the Euros despite the Al-Nassr star scoring 10 in 10 in qualifying.

There has also been speculation that Ronaldo, who played at his first Euros in 2004 and won the tournament in 2016, may call time on his international career or possibly even quit football altogether after this year’s tournament in Germany.

Portugal kick off their Euro 2024 Group F campaign against the Czech Republic in Leipzig in a week’s time before facing Turkey and Georgia.
