Sports Interactive have officially announced the release date for the latest installment of the Football Manager series.
Football Manager 25, the first game in the series to feature the new Unity engine will be available globally on November 26.
The new entry marks the the first time the engine has been incorporated and promises players the ‘biggest technical and visual advancement for the series in a generation’.
Players will also be able to take control of women’s teams for another first for the series, with a database of more than 25,000 players available.
However, international management will controversially not be included, with the studio noting earlier this month that an overhaul is needed before returning in FM26.

‘FM25 is just the starting point for the studio’s next 20, 30 years. It’s also the point where the world gets to see two of our multi-year projects come to fruition: the switch to the Unity engine and the introduction of Women’s Football.
‘It gives us a real sense of achievement to begin sharing our hard work with you and we’re really looking forward to showing you more of the game in the weeks before the game’s release.’
Home console versions will once again be released alongside the PC edition, with FM 25 Console set to be available on both Xbox and PlayStation 5 on November 26, with a Touch edition for Nintendo Switch on December 3.
Meanwhile Football Manager 25 Mobile will once again again be available as an exclusive for Netflix subscribers, with players able to transfer their saves from the previous release as the version has not made the switch to mobile.
