New Chelsea signing Marc Guiu has been crticised by fans for his ’embarrassing’ misses against Servette in the Europa Conference League.
Guiu, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer, was making his first start for Chelsea after featuring as a substitute against Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend.
The 18-year-old thought he was going to score his first goal for Chelsea as he closed down Servette goalkeeper Jeremy Frick.
However, Frick managed to scramble back to keep out Guiu’s effort, with the forward then having another effort saved.
Remarkably, Frick made another stop from Guiu, who was left hugely frustrated.
