The German football association have today announced that former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann will succeed Hansi Flick as the new manager of the senior men’s national side.
On Friday, the 36-year-old put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him in charge until July 31, 2024 – which will see him take charge of the German side for the European Championships, which are set to finish on July 14, 2024.
It comes after Hansi Flick was sacked as the German National side’s head coach following a 4-1 drubbing by Japan, to finish up his tenure as the side’s head coach winning just four of his 17 games in charge.
