Tottenham are on the verge of signing highly-rated Croatian centre-back Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split, according to reports.
The 16-year-old made eight appearances in the Croatian top flight last season and has been chased by teams around Europe.
Vuskovic helped Hajduk win the Croatian Cup and became the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer after finding the net just days after his 16th birthday.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the defender has agreed on a move to North London on Sunday.
He posted on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Tottenham are on the verge of signing Croatian top talent Luka Vusković.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle had all previously shown an interest in Vuskovic but it appears Ange Postecoglou’s side have won the race for his signature.
Manchester City were also keen to sign the defender, who captained the Hajduk U19 team to the final of the UEFA Youth League last season alongside his first team commitments.
It is not yet clear when he will officially join Spurs yet he is set to be the next exciting addition to Postecoglou’s new look defence in north London.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, left-back Destiny Udogie and central defender Micky Van de Ven have all impressed in the first weeks of their debut campaigns in the Premier League.
Experienced players such as former captain Hugo Lloris and England international Eric Dier are yet to make an appearance this season.
The new additions have helped Spurs to an unbeaten start to the Premier League season, leaving Postecoglou’s men second in the early league standings.
They return to action after the international break when they host Sheffield United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, September 16.
