Manchester United are targeting Belgium Under-21 international Senne Lammens as a potential replacement for Andre Onana.
The Belgian international has been the first-choice goalkeeper for Royal Antwerp since he moved to the the Belgian outfit from Club Brugge in 2023.
Lammens, 22, has already attracted plenty of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs including Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Leeds United.
Although acquiring a new goalkeeper next month is not seen as a priority, the Red Devils are weighing up their options and have sent scouts to monitor him this season in case they need to find a replacement for Onana, the Telegraph reports.
Onana’s recent poor performance against Wolves on Boxing Day which saw him concede directly from a corner has left many concerned including new boss Ruben Amorim.
The £47m signing from Inter Milan has had a very turbulent time at Old Trafford since joining 18 months ago and United have now started to look for replacements.

The Cameroon international has been guilty of quite a few errors since Ruben Amorim took charge of United late this year.
He suffered mistakes against Nottingham Forest and Viktoria Plzen during the first few matches of the Portuguese’s reign and has looked unconvincing in-between the posts ever since.
On top of Onana’s recent poor performances, second-choice keeper Altay Bayindir could leave in the summer in search of first-team football.
Despite United’s goalkeeper dilemma, a deal might not be completed this January transfer window as the club’s spending will be limited since they recorded losses in their financial figures and will have make sure they comply with profit-and-sustainability rules.
Some player outings could help United bring Lemmens in however, with Juventus reportedly interested in reuniting Joshua Zirkzee with former coach Thiago Motta.
Marcus Rashford has also been vocal about his desires to begin a new chapter in his football career which may see him depart Old Trafford.
