Manchester United are looking at signing centre-back Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea this summer, according to a new report.
The Red Devils had serious issues with injuries in defence last season, and were constantly relying on makeshift options to cover.
Meanwhile, the Blues look set to make several sales this summer, to boost their own transfer funds, and attempt to satisfy the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
The Independent report that Chalobah would be a target for Man United, with the 24-year-old appealing to the club as they look to bring in more youthful players.
However, any potential move for the former England youth level player would be dependent on Man United’s new recruitment approach, which is being finalised by INEOS.
