New England interim manager Lee Carsley was in attendance as Chelsea faced Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
Carsley ran the rule over several English players, with Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill starting for Chelsea, while Rico Lewis was in action for City, with Phil Foden coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half.
England Under-21 boss Carsley was named as interim boss for the senior side following the departure of Gareth Southgate.
Carsley will be in charge for Nations League games away to the Republic of Ireland and at home to Finland next month.
He guided England Under-21s to success at the European Championship last year.

Palmer, Colwill and Lewis all played for England Under-21s under Carsley and have represented the senior team.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, 25, who hasn’t represented England at any level, came on to make his Chelsea debut, with Tosin Adarabioyo and Noni Madueke also on the bench.
Kyle Walker, John Stones, Jack Grealish and youngster Nico O’Reilly were amongst the substitutes for City.
