Newcastle have set a staggering price tag on in-form Alexander Isak, in excess of £150million, according to a report.
The Magpies purchased the 25-year-old in 2022 from Real Sociedad for £63m – the club’s most expensive arrival to this day.
Only three players have outscored Isak in the Premier League this season, who has netted 11 times in 16 games – Mohamed Salah (16), Erling Haaland (13) and Cole Palmer (12).
His impressive form has caught the eyes of some Premier League rivals and other European giants, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Despite the plethora of potential suitors, Newcastle have insisted that they are ‘relaxed’ about the situation, while Isak himself has expressed he is content on Tyneside, according to The Telegraph.
Upon Enzo Maresca’s appointment in the summer, Chelsea enquired about the Swede’s availability, which was met by the aforementioned £150m valuation.

Arsenal have long been linked with Isak, while Liverpool could join the race for his signature if they fail to persuade Mohamed Salah to put pen to paper on a new deal.
PSG, Madrid and Barcelona are all thought to be tracking the striker as well.
Isak, who earns around £120,000 per week, has three and a half years left on his current deal.

Although new contract talks were postponed earlier this year, Newcastle want to keep their star man.
Talks broke down in October and Isak’s camp were doubtful about the club’s progress, with Champions League football a personal priority for the striker.
After Newcastle’s 4-0 win over Ipswich Town on December 21, manager Eddie Howe addressed the external interest surrounding the forward.
‘There’s no part of me or anyone at Newcastle that wants to let Alex go. I would love for him to contribute to us winning a trophy,’ he said.
