Manchester United’s new away shirt is set to cause confusion for colour blind viewers in Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Arsenal.
United will be wearing the military green strip in competitive action for the first time at the Emirates Stadium.
It has caused concern among potential viewers, as the visitors’ green shirt is likely to clash with Arsenal’s traditional red and white home kit.
It could be tough for colour blind viewers to distinguish between the two sets of teams.
The Premier League has faced criticism for overlooking similar kit clashes in the past.

Previous issues for colour blind fans have also centred around United, with a 2021 clash against Liverpool unwatcheable for many.
The Premier League vowed to work with clubs to ensure that teams are distinguishable when they face off.
The issue has been better adressed following five incidents of kit clashes in the 2020-21 season and 11 in the season before that.
However, Sunday’s game at the Emirates appears to have slipped under the radar.
