Scotland were brought back down to earth after qualifying for Euro 2024 with a 4-1 friendly defeat in France. 

Steve Clarke’s men took the lead through an early Billy Gilmour goal but quickfire goals from Benjamin Pavard meant the hosts were ahead after 24 minutes. 

Kylian Mbappe added a third with a penalty after 41 minutes and Kingsley Coman rounded off a comprehensive victory with a strike on 70 minutes.
