Arsenal get worrying Sesko transfer news from Slovenia
Arsenal have already been handed a concerning update on Benjamin Sesko from the RB Leipzig striker’s homeland.
Mikel Arteta’s side have made Sesko their top summer transfer priority ahead of Viktor Gyokeres, FootballTransfers has previously revealed.

Leipzig believe that the bidding in the summer battle for the 21-year-old Slovenia international could drive his price to around €100 million.
For that figure, which would be the second-highest in Arsenal history behind Declan Rice, the Gunners would demand a player arriving in peak condition. To this end, they have been given a worrying update from Sesko’s homeland from Andrej Razdrh, the new boss of the U21 side.
Razdrh plans on doing what he can to take the striker to the U21 European Championship in Slovakia in the summer.
Speaking about both Sesko and Zan Vipotnik, who plays for Swansea, the coach said: “The squads must be submitted by 4 June. Both play with the full national team, but for the benefit of Slovenian football, we want to play with the strongest possible lineup.”

Will Sesko go?
It is unclear what Sesko’s reaction to the call would be, but the RB Leipzig hitman has clearly graduated past that stage of his career. Indeed, he has already won 39 senior caps while scoring 16 goals, underlining his ability to perform at a world-class level.
Remarkably, he has never won a Slovenia U21 cap, bypassing that level to go straight into the senior squad.
Playing in the European Championship this summer would represent a risk as it would be the first time since turning professional he would have played in such a tournament, effectively meaning one season would run into another.
While this is challenging for players at the best of times, for a young man expected to make a career-defining move to the Premier League, it represents a huge risk.
Arsenal, too, will appreciate that and will doubtless be eager that Sesko turns down his country’s call should he get one.
