Todd Boehly told to ‘f*** off’ by Chelsea legend
Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel has launched an X-rated rant at Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital following his former sideโs woeful run of recent results.
The Blues have dropped from title contention down to sixth place in the Premier League table and their 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night has left Champions League qualification in serious doubt.
Enzo Marescaโs men have only won two of their last nine league matches and some supporters have pleaded for the Italian to be sacked.

However, the vast majority of blame has been placed at the feet of Chelseaโs ownership group. Clearlake Capital, headed up by Behdad Eghbali, own a majority stake at Stamford Bridge, with the remaining shares split equally between Mark Walter, Hansjorg Wyss and Boehly.
Since the consortiumโs arrival in 2022, Chelsea have prioritised signing young players with high potential as they aim to achieve long-term success in both domestic and European competitions.
Over โฌ1.2 billion has been spent on new signings during that time, yet Chelsea are still without a reliable goalkeeper or a reliable centre forward, while the vast majority of their first-team squad has underperformed since arriving.

John Obi Mikel slams Chelseaโs owners
During the latest episode of his Obi One Podcast, Mikel launched a scathing review of the current situation at Stamford Bridge and urged the clubโs owners to promptly depart west London.
โThey’ve [Clearlake Capital and Boehly] bought this football club with the sole purpose of winning – not making profit.
โIf you buy Chelsea Football Club and think you are here to make profit, no mate you can f*** off, you can f*** off.
โYou need to win trophies. You can make your profit but you need to win trophies.โ
Chelsea finished 12th and sixth in the first two full seasons of Clearlake Capitalโs reign, while they have failed to win a major trophy since Roman Abramovichโs departure in 2022.
