Atletico Madrid want Conor Gallagher

News of Chelsea’s rejected Omorodion bid comes following reports that Atleti are interested in signing Blues midfielder Conor Gallagher amid his uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.

The England international has just one year left on his current Blues contract and the west London club are eager to offload him in order to generate pure profit.

However, Gallagher is keen to remain at Chelsea, meaning a summer exit is not a foregone conclusion as things stand.

Despite this, Atletico Madrid are monitoring Gallagher’s situation and have made a move to sign him, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.

The LaLiga giants have reportedly contacted Chelsea regarding a possible move for the 24-year-old, although their pursuit of his signature remains in the early stages.
