Cristiano Ronaldo slammed after Al-Nassr ‘disasterclass’: He needs sold!
Cristiano Ronaldo might be the highest-paid footballer on the planet, but that does not mean that Al-Nassr supporters are happy with his contribution to the team.
Ronaldo has been with the Saudi Pro League side since debuting in January 2023 and appears set on using the platform the club can provide him in his chase for 1000 career goals.

He recently signed a new deal with Al-Nassr that expires in 2026, by which time he will be 41, but supporters are growing restless over his chronic lack of silverware with the side.
Since hooking up with the team, Ronaldo has only picked up the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup. The Saudi Pro League title for 2024/25 had been a target at the beginning of the season, but that is slipping away from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s side following a 3-2 loss against Al-Ettifaq at home on Friday.
Ronaldo’s club had led 2-1 going into the final 10 minutes of that clash but an own goal and Gini Wijnaldum’s second of the game for the guests turned the match around.
It leaves Al-Nassr fourth in the table, eight points behind leaders Al-Ittihad, who also have a game in hand.
Cristiano Ronaldo: Superstar under pressure
Now the focus has turned to Ronaldo and what he is bringing to his team for a wage that is reportedly €183 million per season.
“Yet again another disasterclass at home by Cristiano Ronaldo. Our title hopes are over. CR7 let us down. Get him out of my Al Nassr!” one fan complained on X.
Another replied: “This guy needs to be sold, he is holding my childhood team Al Nassr back, we were on top of the table before he joined.”
A third chipped in: “All Ronaldo is good for is to score goals. Not win games!”
Ronaldo has 16 Saudi Pro League goals to his credit this season, albeit six of these have come from the penalty spot.
