Dele Alli is back! Romano reveals former Tottenham wonderkidâs next club
Former England international Dele Alli is set to sign for Serie A side Como on Sunday, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 28-year-oldâs nightmare is close to ending. Troubled by personal issues and injury problems, former England international and Tottenham superstar Dele has not played a competitive game since late February 2023.
A versatile attacking midfielder, Dele was one of the Premier Leagueâs standout performers during the late 2010s, but his career has stagnated in recent years.

After 67 goals and 57 assists in 269 appearances for Spurs, he left the club to join Everton in 2022 but failed to make an impact at Goodison Park. He was able to make just 13 appearances for the Toffees (and 15 out on loan at Besiktas) before a groin injury sidelined him long-term.
In the summer, his contract expired but he remained with the Liverpool outfit to continue his rehabilitation and there were rumours that he could be handed an extension if he was able to prove his fitness.
This didnât materialise and Dele had been stuck in limbo in recent months.
Dele to sign for Como
However, in December, news broke that Dele had been offered a post-Christmas trial period by former Premier League rival Cesc Fabregas and his Como side.
Dele was offered the chance to train with the Serie A team and get back to full match fitness with the chance of winning himself a contract, which according to Fabrizio Romano, he is now set to achieve.
