Fabrizio Romano gives ‘HERE WE GO CONFIRMED’ for ANOTHER Man City signing
Fabrizio Romano has given his customary ‘Here We Go’ to confirm another Man City signing, this time of Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Reis.
Romano reports that Manchester City have agreed a €40 million deal to sign Reis from Palmeiras.
City plan on bringing Reis to the Etihad immediately, so he can play the second half of the season in England rather than wait until the summer.
The clubs are now checking all the final documents before arranging a medical and the official contract signing.
Reis, 19, is considered as one of the best young talents in Brazilian football and Man City have beaten a host of Europe’s biggest clubs to his signature.

It is all part of a January revolution by City, who are set to spend more than €150m this month on three players alone.
Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush and Lens youngster Abdukodir Khusanov have already been given the ‘Here We Go’ treatment by Romano in deals worth over €100m combined.
City are set to offload Kyle Walker this month after the England veteran asked to leave the club, with AC Milan favourites for his signature.

What can City fans expect from Vitor Reis?
Vitor Reis is a ball-winning centre-back who played 16 times in Brazil’s Serie A for Palmeiras last season.
His strengths were his ability to regain possession and his aerial strength, while his ability to retain the ball was also a notable power that Guardiola would appreciate for his Man City team.
Data analytics firm SciSports are sceptical over Vitor Reis’ ability to one day become a first-team regular at City. Instead, it predicts he is good enough to become a rotation player at the club, although his rapid development over the last six months suggests it may upgrade this status very quickly.

City have had a disappointing first half of the season in which they have already fallen out of the Premier League title race.
They are hoping that a strong January transfer window can see them rescue their season in the second half of the campaign.
