Fabrizio Romano reacts to SHOCK Arsenal move for Roberto Firmino
Fabrizio Romano has reacted to shock reports that Arsenal could sign Roberto Firmino on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Arsenal are currently in an injury crisis in attack, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus out for the rest of the season, and Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli missing until April.
With only three fit senior attackers, there have been reports Arsenal could look to sign a free agent.

Fichajes is Spain has reported that former Liverpool star Firmino wants to tear up his Al-Ahli contract in Saudi Arabia immediately.
That would make him a free agent and allow Arsenal to sign him until the end of the season.
The report adds that Firmino is angry after Al-Ahli boss Matthias Jaissle dropped Firmino from his league squad because rules state that only 10 foreign players are eligible for inclusion..
Romano has now poured cold water on the news of Arsenal potentially signing Firmino.

What did Romano say?
“He’s still not leaving Al-Ahli now as the Saudi club insists to continue until the summer as they can use him in the Asian Champions League,” Romano said.
“Let’s see what happens if they change their stance.”
Firmino only joined Al Ahli in the summer of 2023 from Liverpool on a free transfer, joining the Saudi Arabia transfer revolution.
Despite a bright start that saw him net a hattrick on his debut, the 33-year-old’s time at Al-Ahli has been underwhelmin.
He scored nine goals last season in the Saudi Pro League and has only five this time around.
This comes after a legendary spell at Liverpool where he scored 111 goals in eight years, winning the Premier League and Champions League forming a brilliant front three with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.
