Marcus Rashford car crash: Man Utd teammate sent to hospital after collision
Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash that left one of his Manchester United teammates need checks in hospital, a report states.
The Sun reports that “Rashford was in a vehicle behind his own Range Rover when it was hit by a black Mercedes”.
This proved a stroke of luck because his car was struck by a Mercedes, the 55-year-old driver of which was arrested upon suspicion of drink-driving.

Man Utd teammate Tyrell Malacia was in Rashford’s car along with a 25-year-old driver and was sent to Macclesfield Hospital to get checked over after the incident.
Ultimately, the left-back was given a clean bill of health at the hospital and was allowed to return to training the following day.
The Sun adds: “Cheshire Police confirmed that officers were called to a collision between a blue Range Rover Sport and a black Mercedes C220 AMG sport on July 16.
“They said a woman was held at the scene and two men taken to hospital.
“The crash occurred two days before Rashford was handed a six-month driving ban for doing 104mph in his Rolls-Royce on the M60 in December 2023.”

Pressure mounts on Malacia
This incident continues a summer of drama for both players.
Rashford has been linked with a potential move away from Man Utd, with PSG repeatedly said to be interested in the England winger, though no concrete move has been made.
Malacia, meanwhile, finds himself under pressure going into his third season at Old Trafford, having barely been able to play last term because of injury. He has failed to make the pre-season tour to the US, and with rumours that United are seeking to sign another left-back cannot take his place at the club for granted.
