Ajax can repay Man Utd for Ten Hag and Antony with THIS transfer
Manchester United fans might feel that Ajax owe them a favour.
After all, they have seen Erik ten Hag arrive from the Amsterdam club and turn the Old Trafford outfit into something of a circus that saw him reliant on signing players from the Eredivisie who were simply not good enough.

Antony is the foremost example. Signed for €95 million – the second biggest signing in the history of Man Utd – he scored just 12 goals and laid on five more before being shipped off to Real Betis on loan this month as Ruben Amorim begins the laborious process of cleaning the Old Trafford decks.
It’s fair to say that in the recent dealings between the two European giants, it has been Ajax who have come out firmly on top. Every time.
Now the Johan Cruyff Arena club may just start to repay the favour, though, by completing a move that could unlock another problem player for Amorim: Marcus Rashford.

Ajax kingmakers in Rashford deal
Ajax have emerged as a potential destination for Barcelona winger Ansu Fati, who holds the keys to Rashford’s future. De Telegraaf reports the news.
Should Ansu leave Barca, Rashford could complete a switch to Camp Nou. The indications, though, are that the 22-year-old wants to see out the season in Catalunya.
Ajax’s interest, though, could change everything. The strong bond the Amsterdam club have with Barcelona that was started by Cruyff continue, with the theory behind the football the two teams play similar. This could be an attraction for Ansu as he seeks to continue his development.
But Man Utd should not count on finally seeing Rashford leave yet. There are still hurdles that must be cleared – and significant ones at that.
Ansu is just one of four players that Ajax are considering signing for that role. They are also studying Oliver Edvardson (Go Ahead Eagles), Rabbi Matondo (Rangers) and Carlos Forbs (Wolves), who is the preference of head coach Francesco Farioli.
If a deal is done with Ansu, though, it may start to repair some of the damage done to Man Utd by Ajax in recent years.
