Chelsea submit ‘FORMAL’ Garnacho offer to Man Utd
Chelsea have made a ‘formal’ offer for Alejandro Garnacho, with Manchester United now considering a big-money proposal to sell their wonderkid this month.
Garnacho has emerged as a shock candidate to move to Stamford Bridge, with United open to his departure due to the PSR flexibility a big money sale could give them.
The 20-year-old started for United in their Europa League match with Rangers on Thursday but there is still a big likelihood of Garnacho leaving before the end of the transfer window next week.

Argentine reporter Uriel Iugt has claimed Chelsea have now submitted a formal bid for Garnacho, building on earlier reports stating that contact had been made between the two sides, while the BBC have claimed that interest from the Blues is ‘serious’.
United are believed to be holding out for a fee of €70 million to part ways with their young talisman, however Chelsea are hoping to seal a deal for closer to €60m.
Napoli are also interested in Garnacho but the Argentine international is understood to prefer a move to Chelsea where he can continue playing Premier League football.
Napoli look elsewhere as United already line up Garnacho replacement
Chelsea may end up having a free run for Garnacho after Napoli saw offers of €50m rejected, with the Italian side now opening negotiations with Dortmund for Karim Adeyemi instead.
Napoli have been in the market for a winger after selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain this month but United’s valuation for Garnacho appears to have been too far for the Serie A leaders.

The club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis also responded to a fan who asked about Garancho by saying: “Who will guarantee me that he’ll score 20 goals?”
For United, the sale of Garnacho could pave the way for a major incoming, with Patrick Dorgu among the club’s top targets, having made a €30m offer to Lecce for their wing-back, which was rejected.
