Romano reveals the FIVE Man Utd players who could leave this month
As many as five players could leave turmoil-stricken Manchester United this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are once more in crisis. Ruben Amorim has not been able to turn the team’s fortunes around and, in fact, Man Utd appear to be getting worse as they struggle to come to grips with the 39-year-old’s system.
Man Utd have lost four consecutive games and find themselves 14th in the Premier League table, just seven points ahead of Ipswich Town in 18th. Their next game is against high-flying Liverpool, who are looking unstoppable at present.

Worse yet, there is, as things stand, little hope of INEOS being able to sign January reinforcements for Amorim. Man Utd don’t have money to spend this month and will only be in a position to sign someone if they sell first.
Man Utd to sell five
According to Fabrizio Romano, there are five candidates to leave Man Utd this month, although in truth there are only a few players at the club who are considered truly ‘untouchable’ at the moment.
Writing on X, Romano revealed that Man Utd will listen to January offers for Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen, both of whom are out of contract in the summer. Additionally, big earner Casemiro could depart the club should a suitable offer arrive.

Then, there are the cases of Antony and Marcus Rashford, with both recently opening the door to leaving Man Utd in 2025. Rashford admitted in an interview that he is ready for a new challenge, while Antony’s agent confirmed that the player is willing to depart should the club accept offers for him.
Romano previously acknowledged that both could already exit Man Utd in January, although it could be difficult to attract suitors who would be willing to match the club’s demands this month.
