Romano teases BOMBSHELL Man Utd transfer for top target
Manchester United target Milos Kerkez has signed with a new agency as he gears up for a 2025 transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Bournemouth left-back has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence in recent years. Kerkez joined the Cherries from Dutch outfit AZ in 2023 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League.
The Hungary international played a brilliant debut campaign and was a standout performer for his country at Euro 2024, off the back of which FootballTransfers was able to exclusively reveal that he had become Man Utdâs top target for the left-back position.
Man Utd flop Antony offered January ESCAPE ROUTE
However, the Red Devils did not have the necessary funds left over to strengthen that position and had to put off a transfer. However, that side of the backline has continued to give the club headaches and will be fixed in 2025.
Kerkez, again enjoying a brilliant campaign, remains one of the top names on the Red Devilsâ shortlist.
Kerkez gearing up for transfer
According to Fabrizio Romano, Kerkez has signed for a new agency as he prepared for a potential transfer in 2025. Going forward, the 21-year-old will be represented by LIAN Sports Group, who also boast Liverpoolâs Federico Chiesa and Nottingham Forestâs Nikola Milenkovic among their list of clients.
Romano states that Kerkez will be âone to watchâ in upcoming transfer windows and reiterated that Man Utd are keen on him. However, the Red Devils are not the only side keeping tabs on him.

Chelsea are known to be long-standing admirers of him and could be in the market for a left-back once Ben Chilwell departs the club. Liverpool, too, have been persistently linked with the Hungarian in recent weeks.
It seems highly unlikely that Kerkez will be on the move in January as Bournemouth will demand a hefty fee for his services, but it seems only a matter of time before he takes the next big step in his career.
