Man Utd Transfer News LIVE: Ugarte CHOICE, Nypan DREAM, Ten Hag PRESSURE
The summer transfer window was a big one for Manchester United as they managed to reinforce the biggest problem areas in their squad.
With a new structure above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils saw significant changes under INEOS in the summer.
Firstly, Ten Hag survived a two-week end-of-season review from the higher-ups at the club, and he even signed a contract extension at Old Trafford after guiding the club to FA Cup glory in May.
Off the pitch, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS overseeing drastic improvements in the market.
They signed Manuel Ugarte, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui in the summer, while Sekou Kone was brought in as one for the future.
Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

Dutch media praise De Ligt
Although Matthijs de Ligt struggled for the Netherlands during September’s international break, the centre-back answered critics by scoring in Man Utd‘s win at Southampton on Saturday.
Dutch media outlet AD described the €45 million man as a ‘standout’ performer in the victory.
The article read, “The scoring de Ligt played a strong match and took revenge for his two poor matches last week in the shirt of Oranje.”
Warnock wants more
Stephen Warnock has told Sky Sports that he expects Man Utd to keep momentum after Saturday’s 3-0 win at Southampton.
United dismissed the Saints but the former Liverpool left-back reveals Erik ten Hag will need to keep pushing for more.
“United fans want to see progress on the pitch. How the team are playing and what they are trying to achieve,” said Warnock.
“They’ve got to build on this. The challenges will be bigger than Southampton but they struggled for half an hour.”

Ugarte makes promising start
Erik ten Hag says it is clear to see that Manuel Ugarte will bolster the Man Utd midfield.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan came off the bench in the 73rd minute against Southampton on Saturday to make his club debut, after signing with hours to spare in the transfer window.
“It was not so easy for him, only two team sessions and partial team sessions because he was not ready to play fully in that team session,” the Dutch boss explained.
“He came back from a game in Venezuela, had a long journey, but he is not already 100 per cent up to speed but it was good to give him some minutes.”
“To integrate in the team to already get some experience about the principles and rules of our game and you can see straightforward that he has attributes that this team need.”
