Mohamed Salah ‘already talking to new club’
Mohamed Salah is in negotiations with Saudi Pro League team Al-Ahli ahead of a possible transfer next summer.
Salah’s contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and a free transfer move to Saudi Arabia is considered very much a possibility.
CaughtOffside reports that Salah’s representatives are already in talks with Salah.

Al-Ahli have made it known they will offer Salah a three-year contract with a huge salary.
Salah is very much considering accepting the offer, although his priority is still to remain at Liverpool.
The report adds that Al-Ahli are also preparing a similar offer for Salah’s Liverpool teammate Virgil van Dijk, whose own contract expires at the end of the season.
Fellow Saudi sides Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad are also said to be interested in Salah.
Past Saudi interest in Salah
Salah was the subject of some huge offers from the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer window of 2023.
Al-Ittihad had a massive offer of €175 million rejected by Liverpool in the closing days of the summer.
But Saudi sides – certainly Al-Ahli – will return to make a new offer in 2025.
Given Salah is now 32, his next contract will be the last major one of his career.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma for a bargain €38m in 2017 and has since gone on to become one of the club’s greatest players of all time.
He has scored 217 goals in 359 games for Liverpool, leading the club to the Premier League and Champions League titles. He has won three Premier League Golden Boots and was Premier League Player of the Year in 2017-18.
