Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has dismissed suggestions that he faked a phone call to avoid the club’s fans.
In a video posted online, Fofana was seen answering his phone and getting on the team coach after Chelsea’s 6-2 win away to Wolves despite fans waiting for the Blues players to emerge.
Malo Gusto was seen interacting with supporters, but Fofana was criticised by some supporters online for his actions.

Fofana wrote on X: ‘Hahaha people are crazy I got a call and then I went to put my bag in the bus after that I go take pictures with the fans’.
