West Ham have been dealt a fresh blow after Lucas Paqueta was forced to withdraw from training on Tuesday with an ankle injury.
Mail Sport understands the Brazilian was pulled from Tuesdayโs session at Rush Green and will undergo further tests with the clubโs medical staff.
Paqueta has only just returned to action after missing the defeat at Chelsea with a groin strain having been a key player since Graham Potter took charge.
While the severity of the injury remains unknown, any prolonged absence would be a huge blow for Potter whose side travel to Arsenal this weekend with just one win from their last five Premier League games under their new manager.
Potter has been plagued with attacking injuries since his arrival last month with Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville all sidelined.
Club captain Jarrod Bowen has only just returned from a fractured foot and West Hamโs home defeat to Brentford on Saturday was the first time Bowen, Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus had started together under Potter.
Paqueta struggled under former coach Julen Lopetegui but has been rejuvenated under Potter, scoring twice in five starts under the former Brighton boss.
