Manchester United fans expressed their frustration with Sir Jim Ratcliffe over plans to move some of the club’s season ticket holders.
United fans held up banners towards the directors box as the players entered the pitch ahead of their 1-0 defeat by Wolves at Old Trafford.
The club plan to relocate around 500 United season ticket holders whose seats are close to the dugout.
United intend for those seats to be taken by fans in premium hospitality, with the club saying that this reflects ‘the high value of this unique location’.
One banner read: ‘Pay for your own mistakes. Not with my seat. Shame on you.’
Meanwhile, another read: ”Decades of loyalty. Sold out for 80 pieces of silver.’

Furthermore, another banner read: ‘Money over loyalty.’
Another stated: ’50 years, one family. Taken for profit not passion. The club was built by us.’, while another read: ‘Tourists over fans.’
United commented on the situation last month, with a statement reading: ‘Some of the general admission tickets directly adjacent to the home and away dugouts will be converted to hospitality seats, reflecting the high value of this unique location.
‘We appreciate the disruption this will cause those fans who currently sit there.
‘And we will be contacting them individually to ensure a suitable alternative seat is found.’
United fans are also disappointed with Ratcliffe’s decision to increase the price of season tickets by £66.
Previously, United fans had held a post-match demonstration against the club’s owners following the draw with Manchester City.
Despite their dramatic 5-4 win over Lyon in the Europa League, it has been a miserable campaign for United in the Premier League.
Their struggles continued with a 1-0 loss against Wolves, with Pablo Sarabia scoring the only goal of the game.
United are languishing in 14th place in the Premier League having won just ten of their 33 matches.
However, they still have a chance of glory in the Europa League and are through to the semi-finals, where they will take on Athletic Bilbao.
