Gabriel Jesus Knee Injury: Arsenal Fans Worry After Optical Illusion

RAS OFF PLATFORM GABRIEL JESUS 1

Arsenal fans were left worried after Gabriel Jesus returned to training following a knee injury, as an incredible optical illusion left them questioning the Brazilian’s fitness.

The Manchester City striker was pictured in training with his team-mates on Monday, but it was the way he was positioned that left Arsenal fans concerned.

Jesus was seen standing in a line with his team-mates, but his right leg appeared to be bent at an awkward angle, leading to speculation that he had suffered a recurrence of his knee injury.

However, it soon became apparent that the angle of the photo was the cause of the confusion, as Jesus was actually standing in a perfectly normal position.

The optical illusion was so convincing that even some of Jesus’ team-mates were fooled, with one of them asking him if he was okay.

The 22-year-old has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in December, but he is now back in training and is expected to be fit for Manchester City’s next game against Arsenal on April 3.

Jesus has been in impressive form this season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions, and his return to action will be a welcome boost for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that Jesus is fit and firing when the two sides meet, as they look to end their poor run of form and secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The optical illusion may have caused some confusion, but it appears that Jesus is on track to make a full recovery and will be ready to face Arsenal in a few weeks’ time.
