Sterling put the visitors 1-0 up with a sublime curling effort from the top of the box on 31 minutes.

Foden then capitalised on an Ilkay Gundogan cutback to fire home despite the best efforts of Canaries keeper Angus Gunn.

Sterling then added his second 20 minutes from time before sealing the win with a penalty rebound on 89 minutes.

The victory sends City ten points clear at the top of the table and almost certain to defend their Prem crown.

Norwich meanwhile are staring down the barrel of relegation with both Newcastle and Everton above them having played two fewer games.
