Harry Kane FINALLY wins the first trophy of his career aged 31 – as Bayern Munich reclaim Bundesliga title after Bayer Leverkusen slip up

Harry Kane will finally get to lift a trophy as Bayern Munich have reclaimed the Bundesliga title.

Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-2 draw SC Freiburg on Sunday handed the Bavarians the crown as they are eight points ahead with two games to go.

It goes some way to vindicating his £100million move from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, when he left his beloved club in search of elusive silverware.

Despite being one of the most prolific strikers of the modern era, Kane has had to wait 15 seasons – and 694 games – for this moment.

His patience has been tested over the years, with Tottenham reaching three finals, including in the Champions League, and finishing second in the Premier League during his time there.

Kane missed the chance to win a trophy in his first game for Bayern in August 2023 as RB Leipzig thrashed them 3-0 in the German Super Cup.

Bayern then went on to finish third in the Bundesliga, ending an 11-year streak of domestic dominance.

But finally, after another scintillating season of 36 goals, the Englishman has a trophy to his name.

More to follow.
