Jake Paul, the American YouTuber and professional boxer, has been celebrating after revealing he made a huge eight-figure sum despite his defeat to Tommy Fury in their recent boxing match.
The 23-year-old, who has become a household name thanks to his YouTube channel, took on the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a six-round exhibition bout in Miami on Sunday night.
Despite being knocked down in the fourth round, Paul managed to last the full six rounds and was declared the loser by a unanimous decision.
However, the YouTuber has been celebrating the fact that he made a huge eight-figure sum from the fight, which was broadcast on pay-per-view.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Paul said: “I made an eight-figure payday. I’m not gonna say the exact number, but it’s an eight-figure payday.
“I’m very happy with that. I’m very happy with the performance. I’m very happy with the outcome.”
Paul also revealed that he was happy with the way the fight went, despite the fact that he was knocked down in the fourth round.
He said: “I think I did great. I think I did better than people expected. I think I showed a lot of heart. I think I showed a lot of skill. I think I showed a lot of grit.

Paul’s fight with Fury was his second professional boxing match, following his first fight against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in January 2020.
The American has now revealed that he is looking forward to his next fight, which is expected to take place in the summer.
