Speaking to Sky Sports, Paul said: “He was trying to get in my face and intimidate me. I’m not going to let anyone do that.
“I’m not going to let anyone get in my face and try to intimidate me. I’m not going to back down from anyone.
“I’m not going to let anyone disrespect me. I’m not going to let anyone disrespect my team. I’m not going to let anyone disrespect my family.
“I’m not going to let anyone disrespect my fans. I’m not going to let anyone disrespect the sport of boxing.
“I’m here to fight and I’m here to win. I’m here to put on a show and I’m here to make sure that everyone knows that I’m the best fighter in the world.”
Paul also made a cheeky comment about Fury’s height, saying: “He’s a lot shorter than I thought he was. I thought he was going to be a lot taller.”
The pair will face off in a six-round exhibition bout at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night.
Paul is the overwhelming favourite to win the fight, with bookmakers offering odds of 1/5 on him to win.
Fury is the underdog, with odds of 3/1 being offered on him to win.
The fight is expected to be an entertaining one, with both men having a lot to prove.
Paul is looking to prove that he is a legitimate boxer, while Fury is looking to prove that he is more than just a reality TV star.
It promises to be an intriguing contest and one that will be watched by millions of people around the world.
