JOE ARIBO has confirmed his Rangers exit with a touching post on social media.
The midfielder rejected a new contract with Rangers earlier in the window, and now appears all set to complete a transfer south of the border and into the Premier League.
On his Twitter page, Aribo wrote: “It’s been an amazing journey being part of this special club.
“I hold Rangers very close to my heart as they gave me the opportunity to showcase my talent on a bigger stage.
“Playing at Ibrox was a dream and I’m glad I got to experience it. I’m happy I was able to play a part in the historic 55 league title winning season.
“I’d like to thank everyone associated with this great club for all you’ve done for me during my time here, you’ve always made me feel welcome and I’ve always had your full support.
“We created a lot of memories together, memories that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my career.
“I wish the club nothing but the best for the future and I’ll always be checking in.”
As for the destination of his next club, newly-promoted Nottingham Forest are currently leading the race to sign him.
The club have gone big on business so far, already completing the loan signing of Dean Henderson from Manchester United and smashing their transfer record for Taiwo Awoniyi in a £17million deal.

They have also reportedly struck a £7m deal to sign Bayern Munich’s Omar Richards and a £17m deal for Liverpool full-back Neco Williams.
Previously linked Fulham, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are also not out of the race to sign him just yet.
Whoever does sign him will be signing an incredibly industrious player after Aribo played the MOST minutes of any footballer in world football last season.
