UFC 285: Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane is set to be one of the biggest fights of the year. The highly anticipated heavyweight title fight will take place on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card is set to start at 10pm ET/7pm PT, with the preliminary card beginning at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
The main event of the night will feature Jon Jones defending his heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane. Jones is the current light heavyweight champion and is widely considered to be one of the greatest fighters of all time. He is undefeated in the UFC and has held the light heavyweight title since 2011. Gane is a rising star in the heavyweight division and is undefeated in the UFC. He is coming off of a dominant win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Gane in December 2020.
In the co-main event, former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will take on Vicente Luque. Woodley is coming off of a loss to Colby Covington at UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Woodley in September 2020. Luque is on a five-fight win streak and is looking to make a statement against Woodley.
The rest of the main card will feature a heavyweight bout between Andrei Arlovski and Chase Sherman, a featherweight bout between Gavin Tucker and Billy Quarantillo, a lightweight bout between Lando Vannata and Mike Grundy, and a bantamweight bout between Jose Aldo and Marlon Vera.
The preliminary card will feature a welterweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Alex Morono, a lightweight bout between Diego Ferreira and Gregor Gillespie, a featherweight bout between Kyle Nelson and Youssef Zalal, a bantamweight bout between Louis Smolka and Jose Alberto Quinonez, and a flyweight bout between Raulian Paiva and Manel Kape.
Fans in the UK can watch the event live on BT Sport 1, with the main card starting at 3am GMT on Sunday, March 7th. The preliminary card will start at 1am GMT. The event can also be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
